A nonprofit coin grading organization made up of the world’s top rare coin, paper money, and precious metals experts. PNG’s mission is to make buying rare coins and precious metals safe and ensure quality products. To become a PNG Dealer, you must agree to abide by PNG’s Standard of Excellence and pass their rigorous set of ethical and financial standards. PNG is the only numismatic organization in the United States that restricts its membership to dealers who possess and demonstrate three essential qualifications: Knowledge, Integrity, and Responsibility.

American Numismatic Association (ANA)

A nonprofit organization that is dedicated to educating and encouraging people to study, collect, and invest in money and precious metals. With nearly 28,000 members, the American Numismatic Association serves the academic community.

Better Business Bureau (BBB)

Founded in 1912, BBB is a nonprofit organization focused on advancing marketplace trust between buyers and sellers. Pinehurst Coins is accredited by the BBB, which means that they have determined that our business meets their Code of Business Practices. The Code is built on the BBB Standard for trust, eight principles that summarize important elements of creating and maintaining trust in business: Build Trust, Advertise Honestly, Tell the Truth, Be Transparent, Honor Promises, Be Responsive, Safeguard Policy, and Embody Integrity.

Certified Coin Exchange (CCE)

Since 1990, CCE has been the largest dealer-to-dealer numismatic network on the Internet. It has been a key negotiator in the U.S. certified rare coin and currency trading between dealers. CCE’s site is an indispensable way for dealers to bid, market, trade, buy, and sell without seeking each other out in person.

Numismatic Guarantee Corporation (NGC)

With more than 34 million coins graded, NGC is considered one of the industry standards in third-party certification for coins. All NGC certified coins are backed by a guarantee of grading accuracy and authenticity and are graded using a version of Sheldon’s Scale. When you buy an NGC certified coin, you can buy with confidence. Pinehurst Coins had to meet NGCS’s strict membership requirements in order to become part of their network of reputable authorized dealers.

Along with proven processes and standards, PMG is one of the preferred and most trusted paper money grading services for today’s collectors.

Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS)

PCGS is a leading third-party coin grading and authentication company founded in 1986. It provides unbiased coin quality and authenticity assessments, ensuring collectors and investors receive accurate evaluations. A team of experienced numismatists and rigorous grading processes bolster PCGS’s reputation for consistency and reliability. Certified Acceptance Corporation (CAC)

CAC is an organization that evaluates and certifies the quality and authenticity of coins that major coin grading services have already graded. It was founded to provide an additional layer of assurance for collectors and investors by validating the grade and condition of these coins. CAC uses a team of experts with extensive experience in numismatics to conduct their evaluations. Their certification adds value and confidence in the market, as coins with CAC approval are often considered higher quality.
