2015 marked the first year the 1 Troy oz Australian Silver Kangaroo bullion coin was produced by the Perth Mint. Each coin’s reverse showcases the left-profile relief design of a red kangaroo hopping along with rays of sunshine emanating from the background. The .9999 pure silver content coin offers an anti-counterfeit security feature; the coin has a micro-engraved “A” that only reveals itself under magnification.
