Description

In 2021 The United States Mint released a new version of the classic Morgan Silver Dollar, which was originally minted from 1878 to 1904, and then again in 1921. This new release faithfully reproduces the original design, featuring the same obverse and reverse as the original coin. These coins are struck from .999 fine silver, making them a highly collectible and valuable addition to any collection. The obverse of the Morgan Silver Dollar features a portrait of Lady Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap with the word “LIBERTY” inscribed across the cap’s brim. The reverse features an eagle with outstretched wings grasping a bundle of arrows and an olive branch. The eagle is surrounded by the words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “ONE DOLLAR.”
